A large number of developing world currency investors have made a return, this goes against the JPMorgan Emerging Markets Currency Index which has fallen 10.9% this year. Using a chart compiled by Record Currency Management it is demonstrated that whilst the EM basket has performed badly in spot terms it has been balanced by the effect of interest rate differentials.  James Wood-Collins, Chief Executive of Record Currency Management, explains what investors should be looking at.
