On The Record
At Record, we have always attached considerable importance to original research in areas that are relevant to us. We have a dedicated in-house research team, which regularly produces research on hedging and currency for return strategies.
Our thematic research includes, for instance, thought-pieces on developments in the Eurozone and analysis on FX transaction costs. Some indication of the length and breadth of our research since Record was established can be found in the Collected Works, available on request.
2012 - Neil Record's submission for the Wolfson Economics Prize, a competition to find the most elegant solution to the break-up of the Eurozone, made the short-list of five finalists. Although it did not ultimately win the £250,000 cash prize, Neil's essay received critical acclaim from many analysts and commentators (summarized on our 'Media' section). The original version, and a revised version produced for the final round of judging, can be found under 'Thematic Research'.
